Detailed ODM Process Steps

1.Initial Consultation & Requirement Brief

Client provides product concept, brand positioning, target market, budget range and estimated order quantity. Factory assigns exclusive account manager.

 

2.Market Research & Feasibility Analysis

Factory conducts market research on target market preferences, regulatory requirements and competitive landscape. Issues feasibility report and quotation.

 

3.Fragrance Development & Sampling

Senior perfumers develop 3-5 original fragrance formulas based on client requirements. Client tests samples and provides feedback for 1-3 rounds of adjustments. Final formula is sealed.

 

4.Packaging Design & Prototyping

Design team creates 3-5 packaging design concepts. Client approves design direction and factory produces packaging prototypes. Final packaging is confirmed and sealed.

 

5.Finished Product Sample Confirmation

Factory produces 3-5 complete finished product samples. Client conducts comprehensive inspection on fragrance, appearance, packaging and performance. Both parties sign sample confirmation.

 

6.Contract Signing & Deposit Payment

Formal foreign trade contract is signed. Client pays 30% deposit to officially start the project.

 

7.Raw Material & Packaging Procurement

Factory procures qualified raw materials and packaging materials from certified suppliers. All incoming materials undergo strict quality inspection.

 

8.First Article Production & Approval

Factory produces 10-20 first article products for quality verification. Client may inspect and approve first articles before mass production.

 

9.Mass Production & Quality Control

Alcohol pretreatment and fragrance blending

Precision filtration and filling

Packaging and labeling

Full-process quality inspection and COA issuance

 

10.Export Compliance & CertificationFactory handles all export compliance procedures: CE, REACH, FDA, Halal certifications, UN3082 dangerous goods classification and customs declaration documents.

 

11.International Logistics & Customs Clearance

Client pays 70% balance payment. Factory arranges international shipping (express/air/sea) and provides logistics tracking information. Assists with destination customs clearance.

 

12.Delivery & After-sales Support

Goods are delivered to client’s designated address. Factory provides after-sales service, regular follow-ups and new product development support.
